Why do some people insist that Eminem sold out?

Some people claim that Marshall Mather's aka Eminem has sold out by
working with artist such as Rhianna, Pink, Lil Wayne and Drake among
others.They also say his last album he was trying to hard to be more
mainstream.Okay newsflash Eminem is the highest selling rap artist of
all time so how more mainstream can he get the guy has been mainstream
since his first single my name is came out in February of 1999. Lil
Wayne meanwhile his first album came out in the fall of 1999 and he
did not get mainstream sucess until 2007.People also say he has went
pop, okay I am a big EMinem fan and think he is probably in the top
five greatest rappers of all time with Jay-Z, 2Pac, Nas and Snoop but
the guy has been pop since he came out.Eminem has always been a pop
artist , so are jay-Z, Snoop, Nas , DMX and every other mainstream

admit or not.Some of you people are acting as if Eminem was some
struggling artist who had been underground from the last 11 years and
now all of a sudden he has sold out and started working with
mainstream artists to make a name for himself.Eminem is not a sellout,
Eminem is just a man who is trying to make good music and keep his
self relevant.
