Can I go see my cousin in the hospital?

I have a rash dr gave me pills and cream to put on my cousin had been
In the hospital for 2 weeks and when u go in the entrance thers a
security guard and tells you if your sik stuff like tht I know because
of gone he's been in an out for a year now but can my cousin catch the
rash even if j xlnt touch him, what if I where gloves, I want to go to
show support even though I hate seeing him in pain and all wired up I
don't want him to think I don't care what should I do
