It had been shot in 3-D (on the Red-colored camera), so expect beanstalk shoots and swords and whatnot to zip out at the eyeballs as well. The upside: It had been written partially by scribe Christopher McQuarrie, who composed The Typical Suspects for director Singer. The down-side: McQuarrie and Singer also teamed on Valkryie. So, yeah… Verdict: Cracking inside a bland pre-teen fairytale type of way, however i require more danger! More muck! More excitement! More (or any) Tucci! Whatsoever, more felines.
