ATG pacts with Pelman

U.K. legit powerhouse Ambassador Theater Group has pacted with producer Tali Pelman to form a co-producing partnership that aims to develop and produce fare for ATG stages.Pelman has previously worked as an in-house producer at ATG, where she participated in mounting London stagings of "The Mountaintop," "The Misanthrope" and "Fat Pig," among others. She's also served as a producer at London's Gate Theater.At the helm of 39 U.K. legit venues, ATG is the largest theater owner and operator in Blighty. Company also encompasses producing activities -- with shows including the current West End offering "Ghost the Musical," headed to Broadway later this season -- as well as ticketing.ATG recently announced an affiliation with Rialto helmer-choreographer Jerry Mitchell, who'll partner with the company to develop and produce shows. Prolific Broadway and West End producer Sonia Friedman also has ties to ATG; her company Sonia Friedman Prods. is a wholly owned subsidiary of the org.Pelman officially beings her new gig with ATG Jan. 16.
